10 Tips for the Best Possible Cleaning!
We thought it would be helpful to give a few tips on how to get the best possible cleaning! A little preparation can go a long way. This allows the technicians to focus on scrubbing and deep cleaning instead of spending time picking up or working around items. This is a win-win. The cleaning technicians are able to do a great job, ensuring you receive the best possible clean!
1. Have all doors open to rooms you would like cleaned (including closets)! Our cleaning technicians are trained to not enter closed doors for your privacy. Please keep all doors open so the cleaning technicians know it is okay to clean.
2. Placing toys and various floor items on beds or sofas can be very helpful. This allows us access to clean all parts of the floors (and even baseboards) because we have room to reach even the hard-to-reach areas.
3. Although we absolutely love animals here at Kidwell's Kleaning, it works best if pets are in a separate room or crate so we can thoroughly vacuum and mop your floors for you. When pets run loose, they shed a lot of hair after vacuuming but before mopping, making thorough floor cleaning difficult. We want to leave the floors as spotless as possible for you!
4. A clear kitchen sink void of dishes will allow us to easily use the sink for mop water and thorough sink cleaning as well. It is difficult to do this when the sink is full of items.
5. Have the area under the beds clear so that we can vacuum under the beds for you! (As long as we have enough room for our vacuums to get under there.) It is amazing how dusty under a bed can get. If you use under-the-bed storage, simply put those items on top of your bed to get the best possible cleaning!
6. It is best to put away heirlooms and valuables. As careful as we are in every home we clean, breakages unfortunately do occasionally happen. We would never want to break anything super special to you causing heartache!
7. For effective window sill cleaning, slightly lift the blinds off the sill so we can access it. We don't move blinds due to the liability. (Sometimes they are not hung well and we have had them come out of the wall when trying to lift the blind. Yikes!)
8. If there are lots of items on the bathroom sink, storing them in a basket can be very helpful and look nice. That way, cleaning technicians won't need to move every individual item to clean the sink basin. They can simply move the storage basket to scrub down your sink basin. The basket organizing all the items can make the bathroom look nice and tidy as well!
9. Place any trash can liners on the kitchen counter. That way we know you would like us to replace your trash bag liners. The liners can also be left in the bottom of the trash cans; this works well too!
10. And finally, leaving a good reachable phone number with the office is very helpful. It enables us to reach our customers when needed.
We hope this has been helpful! If you have any other tips of your own, please reach out to our office. We would love to hear them and include them!
