A Great Cleaning Tool for the Cleaning Industry

After being in the cleaning industry for over 35 years, there are few cleaning supplies that impress, but occasionally, I come across something that actually does make cleaning easier!

Microfibers were really cool for a while, but they tend to lose their effectiveness over time, they require being washed separately from all other materials, and I kind of worry about the micro plastics in our environment.

I still love the 100 cotton terry cloth towels because well, they are considered “organic” now (which I suppose they always were!), they are very simple and last a long time.

Vacuums are vacuums and I still love my Riccar Supralite vacuum (pictured) and the Sanitaire canister vacuums (which I buy upgraded attachments for).

But I just recently tried a very cool tool that I found on Amazon that I am kind of loving. It is a cobweb duster that I can use for cobwebs, wall vents, bathroom ceiling fans, floor baseboards and dusting high areas. I love that I can use this one tool for all these areas. I also love that I can take one of my cotton towels to brush all the debris off to clean it. Not only that, but the handle extends an incredibly long way so I can get cobwebs in my stairwell corners I have never been able to get! I even like that it is not microfiber, so it won’t “stick” when dusting any of these areas. It does come with a microfiber duster though for dusting various items such as computer screens and computer screens-items you aren’t supposed to use any cleaning agents on.
